Cooper-Standard Automotive Inc. is looking for a new name. As part of a spinoff pact with Cooper Tire & Rubber Co., the Novi, Mich., supplier got to keep the Cooper-Standard name for two years, said CEO James McElya. But the deal was sealed in December, and the clock is ticking. Cooper-Standard will come up with a new identity within 12 months, McElya said, adding, "I'm inclined to have a name that is somewhat reflective of what you do.''
